2 area sites called top wonders

AOL Travel and the Travel Industry Association recently named Rock City Gardens and Ruby Falls as two of “America’s Amazing Natural Wonders.”

The area attractions are among the list of 24 natural wonders that also includes Mt. McKinley and the Northern Lights in Alaska, Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats and the La Brea Tar Pit in Los Angeles.

Meagan Jolley, spokeswoman for Rock City and Ruby Falls, said the area attractions have made several similar lists in the past.

“We are glad that is continuing,” she said. “Obviously, the more recognition we get the more it benefits Chattanooga.”
