Chattanooga: FirstBank opening city branch

Lexington, Tenn.,-based FirstBank will open its first Chattanooga financial center Thursday. The branch is on the first floor of the 401 Building at the corner of Fourth and Chestnut streets downtown.

“Our downtown financial center is in a vibrant part of our community and easy to find,” said Sam Jones, city president.

The 4,200-square-foot location is a full-service branch and houses bank’s Chattanooga headquarters. The bank has a “pod-style” lobby design.

A second Chattanooga location is set to open on Hamilton Place Boulevard in September.
