Miss Tess & the Bon Ton Parade
This is, admittedly, not my best interview. I had been in contact with the excellent Miss Tess & the Bon Ton Parade since their last gig in Chattanooga. The Boston-based “Modern Vintage” outlet has performed several times in the area with Christabel & the Johns. Due to bad planning and a bit of miscommunication, the interview had to be recorded at the Pickel Barrel. Throw in some technical difficulties with my DAT machine and we have a royal mess. I hope you enjoy the tunes. If you want to learn more about the band, I encourage you to check out their excellent CD “Modern Vintage.”
Some shows:
The Montonix are back tonight. If you like your rock loud, Middle-Eastern & possibly on fire this is your show! Showtime is 10 p.m. Tickets are $6
A special show at the Barking Legs — The Brothers Unconnected: a tribute to the music of the Sun City Girls and Charles Gocher. Tickets are $15. Showtime is 8:30 p.m.
Reggae legends “Groundation” will perform with the Ogya band at Nightfall tonight. Admission is free. Showtime is 7 p.m.
Have a great weekend.
